From a mechanical point of view, the AMSABS 3B is based on the MONORAIL MR roller guide up to a length of 6m. The distance measurement system’s compact housing facilitates the construction of highly compact axes. SCHNEEBERGER provides an absolute interface with various cable lengths to connect it with the SSI, SSI+SinCos, FANUC, Mitsubishi and Siemens Drive CliQ® controllers. Various options regarding lubrification and sealing of the measuring carriages mean that optimal adjustments can be made to the requirements of the application. The easily exchangeable reading head is identical and replaceable for all sizes.
